MoJo Brookzz Announces Debut Netflix Comedy Special “I Know You Lying”

MoJo Brookzz is preparing to reach audiences around the world with his debut Netflix comedy special, I Know You Lying, premiering globally on October 6. The highly anticipated release represents a defining moment for the Chicago-born comedian, whose growing popularity has carried him from viral social-media sketches to sold-out theaters and major entertainment platforms.

Filmed at Atlanta’s Center Stage Theatre, I Know You Lying brings Brookzz’s energetic personality, sharp observations and unmistakable delivery to the Netflix stage. The special is directed by Mike “Homeless Pimp” Lavin and produced through 3 Nuts Studios by Lavin, Jason Nower and John-J Sheridan. Brookzz serves as an executive producer alongside Bernie Cahill and Grant Pennel of Activist Artists Management.

The special shares its title with Brookzz’s successful 2025 headlining tour, which reportedly sold more than 100,000 tickets across 40 cities. That achievement followed his Unhand Me Now Tour, which sold more than 65,000 tickets and helped establish him as one of comedy’s fastest-rising live performers. His rise continues with the international Outta Pocket Tour, featuring appearances across the United States, Hawaii and Europe.

Born Dyon Brooks, the comedian has built a diverse career as an actor, writer, producer and digital entertainer. He stars as Basil Henderson in Tyler Perry’s Netflix comedy series Miss Governor, appeared on Season 21 of Wild ’N Out and has performed alongside Mike Epps on the arena-level We Them Ones Comedy Tour. Brookzz has also earned an Emmy for his contributions to a Chicago Bears advertising campaign.

With millions of followers, sold-out performances and an expanding television résumé, MoJo Brookzz is entering a new chapter in his career. I Know You Lying gives longtime supporters—and viewers discovering him for the first time—an opportunity to experience the comedy that has fueled his rapid rise.

MoJo Brookzz: I Know You Lying premieres exclusively on Netflix on October 6.
